The 2020 Range Rover has a few improvements that may appeal to select drivers. At Land Rover San Diego, we take every step to empower our customers to make a well-informed SUV selection, and we are available to support you with your detailed comparison between the 2019 Range Rover and the 2020 model.
Both Range Rover model years are available with your choice of a standard wheelbase or a long wheelbase. This directly impacts performance as well as interior space. The 2019 model year’s entry-level powertrain is a supercharged V6, and a turbocharged inline-6 has replaced this with a mild hybrid design. A plug-in hybrid powertrain is available for the first time in 2020, and it expands on the efficiency of the mild-hybrid powertrain. For higher-level trims, the same V8 engine with a dynamic response is available for both model years, and it delivers 518 horsepower. The top trim takes performance a step further with a supercharged V8 engine that produces 557 horsepower.
Exterior style elements of the 2019 Range Rover directly carry forward to the 2020 model year. All trims have the boxy yet regal profile that Range Rover is known for. This includes a sculpted mesh grille with geometric LED headlights and eye-catching rims. The athleticism of the front fascia is raised by a metallic skid plate. Some trims have 21-inch alloy wheels, and all trims have individualized wheel designs. Top trims also have side air vents, exceptional graphics on the side panels, and an enhanced front fascia. The top trim for 2019 and 2020 has a black top with glossy black side mirrors.
You can expect to feel pampered amidst beautiful materials and high-tech features regardless of which Range Rover trim you select. Through a digital dashboard display, you can control the 3-zone auto climate control system, smartphone technologies, navigation system, and more. The heated front seats have 16-way power adjustments. Additional features are a rearview camera, a Meridian sound system with a subwoofer, InControl TouchPro, and so much more. With significant trim-specific variations among the standard equipment and options, you can create the ideal driving experience with your trim selection.
