That is why we created this Land Rover EV maintenance guide. We do not want your vehicle to miss out on the Range Rover EV routine maintenance it needs to perform at its best.

Range Rover Electric Car Maintenance Schedule

Electric vehicles are easier to maintain than their gasoline counterparts, so keeping up with Range Rover EV routine maintenance is a stress-free endeavor. We dive into the Range Rover electric car maintenance schedule below.

  • Battery Checks – Inspect the battery often to make sure that it is operating at peak performance. This is even more important if your vehicle is equipped with a lithium-ion pack. While EV batteries generally last for 100,000 miles or more, frequent inspections allow you to discover small issues before they turn into major problems.
  • Brake Fluid Replacement – The Range Rover electric car maintenance schedule does not include oil changes. However, you will still need to replace the brake fluid every 3-5 years. Replace the brake fluid sooner if you notice that the brake warning light is flashing on your driver information cluster.
  • Coolant System Maintenance – A majority of the electric vehicles on the streets of La Jolla feature special thermal management or cooling systems. These features are necessary for proper battery function. If you are not sure when coolant system maintenance is recommended for your vehicle, explore your owner’s manual.
  • Tire Rotation – Tire care is also an important component of Range Rover EV routine maintenance. This is because EVs are usually much heavier than gasoline-powered vehicles due to the battery pack, and this can lead to quicker tire wear. A tire rotation is recommended every 5,000 to 10,000 miles.
  • Wheel Alignment – Make an appointment for wheel alignment every 15,000 miles to boost mile range and reduce tire tread wear.
  • Air Filter Replacement – Pollen, road dust, dirt, and other harmful contaminants can get inside your vehicle, but an air filter helps to minimize this. Replace the air filter every two to three years. Specialty air filters can last up to five years.
