Range Rover Electric Car Assisted Driving Features

InControl is a comprehensive system of technology that includes safety, infotainment, connectivity, navigation, and even in-vehicle WiFi. The InControl safety system is built on the following core capabilities:

• Adaptive Cruise Control
• Emergency Braking
• Lane Keep Assist
• Blind Spot Assist
• Traffic Sign Recognition
• 3D Surround Camera
• Front and Rear Parking Aid
• Rear Traffic Monitor

However, the Range Rover EV safety features don’t end there! You can download the InControl Remote app onto your smartphone, tablet, or watch, which opens up a whole new slate of driver assistance. You can keep tabs on your vehicle–such as its fuel level and parked location–and you can perform remote functions, such as starting the engine or activating the climate control from a distance. If your vehicle is stolen, you can use the InControl Remote app to contact the Land Rover Stolen Vehicle Monitoring Center, which will work with local law enforcement to find and retrieve your vehicle.

Land Rover Hybrid & EV Lineup

Land Rover has three types of electrified vehicles that are either available right now or in the near future. Here’s an overview:

• Mild Hybrid: These vehicles have a small secondary electric motor that works with the internal combustion engine to improve efficiency. Current models include the Range Rover MHEV, Range Rover Sport MHEV, Range Rover Velar MHEV, Discovery MHEV, and Defender MHEV.

• Plug-In Hybrid: Plug-in hybrids, or PHEVs, have large electric motors that allow the vehicle to cruise short distances around Rancho Santa Fe without ever using a drop of gasoline! Land Rover currently offers a Range Rover Electric Hybrid and Range Rover Sport Electric Hybrid

• Fully-Electric: Fully-electric vehicles, or EVs, run entirely on electric power and have no internal combustion engine. Land Rover is working to release the first-ever fully-electric Range Rover in early 2024!
